To me, all "Do Not Track" does is bring you to attention of tracking software as a person of interest.
Better to use a plugin like Ghost to block them.
Ghost also will let you know the number of trackers on a site and give you the option to block them.
I do not think it automatically blocks them. It just initially reports who is tracking you.
