Subject description: frugal install		  
I am a beginner.How to do a frugal install. What is the advantage of a frugal install as opposed to booting from live cd,which I am doing now?

A huge advantage is to upgrade you just copy the new files across to replace the old. Can easily co-exist with other distros. Boots a lot faster. Easy to add new software.
