Anyone know where there is a shell program for dos3.3, I have a "few" old dos program datasets I need to check through and move some over, having found the old laptop they were on no longer works.
thanks
DOS Shell?
If what you're asking for is a DOS emulator, look up DOSBox.
If you need real DOS, look here --> http://www.allbootdisks.com/download/dos.html
You'll need a real floppy disk and some knowledge (which I don't have) of the Linux dd command, to write the disk image. Or, if you still have a Win system, get the Automatic floppy maker *.exe, and use that. (In both cases you will need the floppy disk and a drive to use it in.)
If you must have it on CD, and you're in the US, I can make one and mail it to you -- but it's a bit complicated to do, so I won't post the procedure here. Besides, I only know how to do it on WinXP (I'm still using Puppy recreationally...)
