Several litters of Puppies on my computer |
|
I just counted how many Puppy versions I have installed on my hard drive, and the number is ten.
There is a little bit of redundancy, for example both Lucid 5.2.8 and 3 Headed Dog are there, and they are basically the same (except for one wallpaper) and they use the same software. I'll probably end up ditching the regular Lucid because it doesn't seem to work as well.
But that's still a lot of Puppies.

With all those puppies, which do you use the most? How often do you use the other ones?

Hi dk60902
Probably use Precise the most, or a precise derivative, then NOP, usually Nop541(precise) or wNop-511, then Wary53.
Using Wary now, the other’s usually get booted every 2nd or third day, just to compare performance and user operational convenience.
Arch and Pup+Go are great for learning, as are all Puppy’s, and the other’s all have their individual attributes.
Should I ever mess things up, it’s so easy to boot another puppy to repair or just simply replace the mess with a new prestine puppy.
Nothing lost, except a few minutes and maybe a slightly dented ego.
Still lots to learn - but having fun on the way.
Best regards - Ray
