RF Adaptor working but cannot get it to autoload
When I boot in 5.4.2 Precise my RF adaptor does not autoboot as it should . The line of code is present as it should be but it does not seem to be being read and connected as the literature says it should.
Can anyone point me to the script that is supposed to go through each of the configuration lines in turn and connect the first available internet connection? It seems to be a pretty mixed up area atm?
Here is the line in "/etc/simple_network_connections/connections" file
Code:
wlan0|Wireless|rtl8192cu|usb|Realtek 8192C/8188C 802.11n USB wireless |90:F6:52:06:77:FD|01|00:17:9A:D8:B1:78|6|100/100|on|DLINK|1234567890|WEP|restricted|||
The SNS box comes up when I click connect and I must choose the "wlan0" entry and when I do the WEP is not selected and there is no password ? I have to enter it again each time I boot _________________ Neither my Family nor my Property are Government issues.
