Just noticed that P2 is not saving some settings on my son's desktop.
P2 is the only distro on a freshly wiped HDD.
I loaded GRUB in MBR.
On reboot it forgets the previously loaded nic driver.
What could be causing this, please?

Did he use the Ethernet/network wizard to load and save the driver?
