Platform for Firefox used: Windows XP and Slacko 5.4
Platform for SWare Iron used: Windows XP
Pros for Firefox:
-Very secure
-Open source
-A lot of extensions available (as well as great plugin support)
-Very fast (depends on specs)
-Low bandwidth usage (with the right addons)
Cons for Firefox:
-Way to fast of a release cycle
-Some bugs on some PC and OS configs
Pros for SWare Iron:
-More secure than Google Chrome
-Built-in ad blocker
-Faster than Google Chrome (even on somewhat older hardware)
-built-in Flash (crashes way less than Google Chrome's Flash)
Cons for SWare Iron:
-Less secure than firefox (not by much though)
-Not Open Source
-Still some Flash crashes (more than firefox does)
-Looks way to much like Google Chrome
Experience with Firefox:
I've been using it for a very long time and still is my preferred web browser. At times though I get frustrated because of it's fast release cycle. But sometimes the update can be essential for website/extension/plugin compatibility.
Experience with SWare Iron:
Literally, I just started using it yesterday. Overall it's better, faster, and safer than Google Chrome. I really have nothing else to say.
What do you think?

I use Chrome or Dragon, not Iron. Iron is lacking security updates.
InsanityBit has something more to say about Iron:

I agree with both of you! lol That is, I find Iron to be faster than chrome, and I don't know why. Playdayz has said something like that elsewhere, if I remember correctly.
However, I am also aware that there is no difference between Chromium and the Iron project except that private browsing always on by default.
So, I use Firefox, basically for the same reason many people drive the same car year after year: it's familiar, therefore I trust it.
I am only human, after all. At least, mostly human, I think...
