Hi,
I would love to know how I can attach a file to an email using google.

I know how to do it on windows, but I am very confused with the names of the directories on puppy linux.

If the file is on my usb flash drive, how am I able to attach it to the email?

I would love to know more about saving files with puppy.

If anyone can direct me towards a basic, simple guide, I would appreciate the gesture!

Let's take this one step at a time. I'll assume you're already able to boot to a Puppy desktop. Rather than try to explain Puppy's directory layout to a beginner, I'll go straight to the point of your question. In the lower left corner of your desktop you should see an icon labeled something like sda1 or sdb1 (depending on what other partitions Puppy can see.) This should be your flash drive. Click on it and you should see the directories (AKA folders, in Windows) and files that are in that drive. Are you with me so far?
