Merci! They all look good. Even the French menu entries for YASSM!

There are also some localizations in C sourced program
Very nice

... adding about 22 messages (if I did count correctly) it could be completely internationalized

We need only source of xscanimage-peasy ... :D

The dialog you see, like "Scan Mode" and "Resolution" comes from the SANE backend for your Mustek driver - /usr/lib/sane/libsane-mustek.so, not from xscanimage-peasy.

When you run Xsane, are words like "Gray" translated?

Since I don't own a mustek scanner, I cannot know what words you are talking about. However, here is a test.

1. Pick one of the 22 words.

2. Run the command: strings /usr/lib/sane/libsane-mustek_usb.so | grep the_word

If it is detected, then there is no way for Peasyscan to translate it.

my console wrote:# strings /usr/lib/sane/libsane-mustek_usb.so | grep 'scan resolution'

Scan resolution
# strings /usr/lib/sane/libsane-mustek_usb.so | grep 'Scan mode'
Scan mode
# strings /usr/lib/sane/libsane-mustek_usb.so | grep 'Scan Mode'
Scan Mode
#
don't  because xsane is inside every standard puppy

@all,
Would be nice to know how it goes in other combinations of scanner and language

I set up Slacko using de_AT and installed the Xsane NLS package.

I installed the hplip_scan driver.

I ran Xsane. All the messages are in German, except for words like Flatbed, Gray, Color and Lineart.

These words come out of the SANE driver /usr/lib/sane/libsane-hpaio.so. So they do not get translated.

It is time to create an actual xsane.pot I think.

I have made Russian translation for peasyscan. Cannot test it though. I don't have a scanner. I hope it's ok.

That would be nice. But I really don't want to release a new version of Peasyscan for the sake of one word.

The translations for PeasyPrint, PeasyScale, PeasyPDF, PeasyPort, YASSM, Legacy GRUB Config 2013, Peasyscan, PeasyGlue are directly in polish langpack.
Here is the translation for peasydisc. Line 550 is not gettexted in peasydisc file.
Updated for Peasydisc 3.2
