Opera joins Chrome

#1 Post by cowboy »

Sounds like Opera has thrown in the towel, and will be using Chromium and WebKit as the brains of its browser going forward. Will be interesting to see how they repackage it, and what becomes of their email client.

That's sad.

I kinda liked the presto engine.

if they're going webkit,
then why can't they just open source the presto engine so that others can continue to improve on it?

Hmm, wouldn't this belong in the off-topic section?

This forum is for dotpet releases of programs for puppy. This is a very interesting bit of information, but it doesn't belong here.
