Subject description: Alternative Slacko Filemanagers

Has anyone created a Slacko .pet file for a file mananger such as spacemanfm, pcmanfm, or thunar? Emelfm looks a bit too retro, and I'm not sure what to make of qtfm.

In Archpup spacefm is the default file manager

To install others use

pacman -S pcmanfm
pacman -S thunar
..................................

Simple and easy, and no need to search for packages on the forum Wink , because they are on the mirrors where they
should be in every serious operating system. Slacko simply doesn't fit there.

Do you know where the folder icons are located for spacefm? ...I open spacefm and see these nasty little off-yellow folders (are they called mine types?).

In any traditional Linux distro icon themes are in /usr/share/icons/. You can go to gnome-look.org and search for icons (may I suggest Faenza Wink ), and extract archive to that folder

Then in /root/.gtkrc-2.0 add this
Quote:
gtk-icon-theme-name="Faenza"
