Hi there,
New question.....I have puppy running from a live cd and want to install puppy onto a CF drive loaded into the usb reader. I want to make the CF bootable so I can remove the cf drive from the usb reader and load it into another computer with a CF to IDE adapter to make it the main system drive.
I tried using the universal installer, but seem to be missing something, in that I cannot run the grub bootloader on the cf card....
Any hints to how to make this work easily??? Thanks.

Thanks....I finally did get it working. Although, discovered the computer I was trying to load the CF card for is very anti-puppy....LOL....an 800mhz via machine. Tried numerous versions of puppy and then the CMOS went berzerk! Think I'll try a different machine.
Puppy works great on a number of my laptops......thanks again.
