Subject description: Installed puppy 3,2,33-4g, Python is broken

Hi, I just built a USB stick to boot Puppy 3.2.33-4g. the Puppy Package Manager says that Python 2.7.3 is installed, yet when I enter "python" from the cli it tells me that it can't find it.

Next. I (re?)installed Python 2,7,3 which went OK. Yet, when I try to start the interpreter from the cli, I get a bunch of error messages ending with:

"unable to open ... pyconfig.h"

what should I do to correct this?

Welcome GBritton! Remove the one you installed and grab the corresponding *devx* pkg for your Pup(?).

So...that appears to be a complete image. So do I use the boot manager to refresh my usb from this image?

It's the devx you're after now. You need to place it somewhere Pup can access it from and run sfs-load in setup. Since I'm not on my usb at the moment, I'm not exactly sure how this'll play out. Either way, this should help bring you up to sfs speed.
