How to play with git in puppy?

#1 Post by snayak »

Hi,

I am interested to use github for my pet programs.
Any friends use git from puppy?

How to use git/github from puppy?
Is there any gui tool for using git, available on puppy?

Is there any other way, (through the github site?) where I can upload my files etc, without having a git client on my desktop?

Sincerely,

Hi chrome307,

I collected git pet. However, for all git commands I see an error like:

git-remote-https: /usr/lib/libcurl.so.4: no version information available (required by git-remote-https)

Have you ever seen this?

My curl version:
curl 7.21.7 (i486-t2-linux-gnu) libcurl/7.21.7 OpenSSL/1.0.0d zlib/1.2.5 libidn/1.22
Protocols: dict file ftp ftps gopher http https imap imaps pop3 pop3s rtsp smtp smtps telnet tftp
Features: IDN Largefile NTLM SSL libz
