Touchpad not working right in Quirky 6.1

Greetings to all again!..it is a Quirky Quirky {6.1} world!..any ideas how i can configure my touch pad?..moving pointer is slow..tap works but I would like up/down vertical scroll. Am I the only one with trouble? (Acer Aspire one D255E intel Atom (2 core) 1GB ram){certainly, nothing flaming hot special!}

your lucky the touchpad on the ACER lappy is not frozen.. this is actually an improvement :?:
