Is anyone able to build a more current .pet version of Iron Browser for Slacko? I'm currently using version 18 but have tried several latter versions,neither of which will work.

Hello Brown Mouse,

I've never looked at this browser before but try this latest version ( 25.0 1400.0 ) I have made into a .pet which appears to work in Slacko 5.5 (despite a few errors which show in console if you run "iron").

I included libgconf-2 which it needs and removed some code from the chrome-wrapper script which was creating a spurious .desktop file which would give an extra (faulty) menu entry.

Make sure you use the correct "download" button on the datafilehost page.

EDIT:- DO NOT USE IN OTHER PUPPIES (apart from Slacko 5.5 and possibly other Slackware 14.0 Slackos).
