#1 Post by paulski »

While there are better almost free programs out there - if you ever need a 2D CAD program without any stings attached.....LibreCAD.

Compiled in Fatdog 611 64 Bit
Homepage http://librecad.org/cms/home.html

Pet:
https://www.box.com/s/hv8r1ll12fn5ubz536no
LibreCAD-1.02_x64.pet

Dependencies:
qt4

https://www.box.com/s/14uz4p3o3a2p6jxkwr14
muparser_v2_2_3-x86_64.pet

There may bee more that I have forgotten. Test it out and let me know if there are issues.

Feel free to mirror the pets --I can't guarantee how long the above links will last.

Hi paulski

I downloaded both the pets and installed in Precise Puppy 5.7.1

Clicking from the main menu, LibreCAD does not start. On typing in the console error message appears:

./librecad: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libQtNetwork.so.4: undefined symbol: _ZN16QIODevicePrivate4peekEPcx

Am I missing something?

Try doing the same test again but with your savefile hidden (ie just the generic Precise with no personalisations.

I found a similar issue with Librecad (32 bit) when I installed it on a system that had "Scantailor" installed. There is obviously potential for Librecad to have a conflict with other QT based software so if you test it on a basic Precise that has no other QT software installed it might run ok.

Sorry, noticed a problem earlier which I did not post:

The second pet (muparser_v2_2_3-x86_64.pet) failed to install.

Does Precise 5.7.1 support running 64-bit programs?
