Recently I've wanted to play around with puppy again so decided to try it out on a 4GB USB stick I had laying around. I was hoping to get a little extra performance out of my computer for playing the Urban Terror shooter.
I had tried Lucid 5.2.8 and things were noticeably much faster than on my old Mint install. A few days later I thought I'd try out Slacko 5.5 Got that installed to USB and fired up the game, and it almost seems slower than even on Mint! I can't figure out why it's lagging so bad in Slacko but not Lucid
I tried first changing to the newest nvidia driver from their website, then worked back to the older versions, and the problem seems present on every driver I try.
Slacko 5.5
AMD 2500
2GB RAM
GeForce 6200 - current driver 304.37
Any ideas on what the difference could be and how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
Game lags after change to Slacko 5.5
