EDIT: I elaborate on what I experienced.
>I tried to install Comix using its installer and it said the system lacked its dependancies. So I installed them through PPA, but the installer insisted there were no pyGTK.
>I uninstalled everything and checked Slacko using pFind. Results are:
>Slacko only: some skeleton of pyGTK. no meat. a kind of placeholder?
>Slacko with pyGTK installed again: everything there. But looks like pyGTK.py doesn't return its version number.
>I replaced it with the same name file from Tahrpup and removed precompiled modules because I couldn't judge their compatibility.
>And Comix worked.

I have a bug report.
I downloaded comix(python program) from sourceforge and, while installing it, could not make pyGTK function.

After some web search, I concluded it is due to slackware repository having broken pyGTK and copied the py module from Tahrpup. Comix worked OK.
Would you mind looking into this issue?
