Virtual keyboard Maliit

Hi.

I am looking for a fast linux system to run on an old IBM with USB touchscreen. Puppy is very FAST !!

I was wandering if there is a way to install the Maliit virtual keyboard on puppy

on a normal ubuntu I used the fallowing command to install the keyboard: sudo apt-get install maliit-framework maliit-plugins

the PPA source of the project is : ppa:maliit-team/ppa

adding a PPA source in puppy is not that easy so I downloaded the deb files from launchpad.net.... installed it ..but the keyboard does not show any sign of lives..

It would be grate to have this package in puppy because it is so ... Fast !
