Puppy 5.7.1 on Toshiba L755

#1 Post by oxygenfarm »

Yesterday I burned a CD with 5.7.1 and tried to boot my laptop. Got just some varied horizontal lines during its attempt to load.
Is this a driver problem?

Hi...

We need more information to work with. If you have enough video to see by, please open a terminal and run...

Code: Select all

lspci
and...

Code: Select all

lsmod
and post the results.

Thanks! :)

Hi...

I don't think fglrx would be causing this. Is there a entry for Catalyst in your menu to adjust your screen resolution? The post by Brian here gives generic resolution settings for LCD and tube monitors. Be careful, though.
