Okay, I got everything extracted to the right directores, and I placed slimboat.sh on my desktop, but nothing happens when I click on it.

Go into SlimBoats directory >> rt-clk >> window >> 'terminal here' and type: ./slimboat.sh

What's the message?

error while loading shared libraries: libgio-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Extract these to /usr/lib then try that console thingy again.

Okay, I installed that package and now it's wanting libgstpbutils-0.10.so.0. I'm currently looking for that now.

Go inside SB/libs and open a terminal. Type: ls -l << These are 'L's.. The output?

Well is libgstpbutils-0.10.so.0 there?

To paste from an xterm you usually 'highlight' the text, minimize the window, clk in the reply window then l/r buttons @ the same time to paste.

Okay, I found it and installed it. Now it's saying stuff about GLIBC's not found that are required for slimboat. GLIBC_2.11, GLBIC_2.9, GLIBC_2.10
