Thanks for the pointer. It looks interesting but is unclear whether it is Windows only or if there will be a Linux version. The site is up but no download available yet. Apparently it is still pre-alpha.

Looked at the files on Github and looks like it will be available for Linux, OSX, and Windows.

you'll nead qt5 & libsodium + cmake=>2.8.8. For new distros only?

I made a pet and a sfs for jitsihere. 22MB, which is similar to skype. Needs JRE, though. Tox sounds interesting as well.
