With the Quirky Tahr iso installed correctly to a 4Gb flash drive
and booted up on a modern Advent M201 laptop with 3Gb RAM,
I observed the following:
When the button pEqualiser in Multimedia Menu is pressed,
immediately a warning box comes up everytime about incorrect
audio or sound config. This box has an OK button to cancel it.
All slider faders in the "Flat" position are defaulted to the bottom
and when moved up to their centres, cannot be saved as such.
Web browser Qupzilla doesn't launch Flash Player completely.
After pressing the scrolly fonted f button, it opens with the usual
black inset screen on an active BBC News 24 page, but there is no
picture or sound.
I downloaded and installed Firefox from the PPM to compare
and Flash Player worked normally.
I then re-tested Qupzilla and Flash still didn't work correctly
as described.

I ran into this on a xmms install with no sound. I picked alsa from the drop down menu to fix it. I can't remember what default was exactly. Something like os-compat or something.about incorrect
audio or sound config.
