Has anyone managed to get the on-line RPG 'Eternal Lands' to run with a Puppy?
I have downloaded the require Linux files, which seem to run fine until I log into the web-site, when there seems to be problems downloading. Result is that it crashes.
Any help would be appreciated.
Anyone playing on-line RPG 'Eternal Lands' in Puppy?

At 30MB, unfrtunately I won't be able to help you (unless I sneak my box over to my sister's DSL conection).
But here's a link so others can:

They mention you need a hardware openGL 1.2 graffics card. I don't kno what openGL stuff is automatically in puppy.

http://www.other-life.com/el/el_120_linux_full.zipTo play on Linux:
Download the zip file, and unzip it.
cd to the directory where you installed it.
chmod to 775 and execute el.x86.linux.bin
edit el.ini and change datadir to where you unzip everything
Also, the zip file has no base directory, so you should unzip it in a new directory you create.
To play under FreeBSD, download the Linux version, download the code from the CVS, and use the freebsd make file.

There is a yellow one that won't accept the black one
That won't accept the red one that won't accept the white one
And different strokes for different folks

The 3D-Control-center installs OpenGL that uses 1.2 without accelleration, and 1.3 with acceleration (2.0 for newer ATI-cards).
