Lucid 5.2.8 and tripple boot

#1 Post by LarryHenry »

I have 3 partitions in a 100Gb hard drive
sda1 = Lupu 5.2.8+500
sda2 = Lupu 5.7.1
sda3 = Akita (newest beta)

I fins i am using 5.2.8 because it is very stable and offers more ways to customize it to my tastes.. IceWm, Games Pack etc.
It gave new life to an eMachines Win-XP PC from 2005. (W3410)
Since i got my "new" ($15 Salvation Army Special) 19 inch Samsung monitor i like it even more.
I use YouTube and watch Hulu.com and Startrek.com with Chrome & Firefox..
I use "Grub4Dos" to control them all.
My CPU is an AMD-Athlon 3200+ and the video (ATi-Radeon-Xpress-200) is dependent on 128MB of motherboard RAM of which I have 2GB.

My thanks to those that maintain Lupu 5.2.8 as it got me off Win-XP and i find it better than Ubuntu or Mint, both of which I have tried.

Keep it coming boys and girls...

And on the left side of the photography, you can have an overview, how boxes do look like, if everything illegal downloaded and burnt to CD and/or DVD has been removed for taking a photography of the computer! :lol: :lol: :lol:
