Yes it was tested. As far as a full install- not sure since I don't do them. You can try using:

pupX set properties of X which is in the Desktop menu and see if the screensaver work from there.

I did something to crash x, i got the screen where it gives you the option to restart
i typed in something like xwin -mw95 because it was one of the options given.
Now I cant shut down the PC at all, or reboot.
Everything else works normally.

(To crash X download the fuse spectrum emulator from the precise repositories and try to resize the fuse window)

Where you able to shutdown yet? If this happens again type this:

xorgwizard to set the screen resolution. If that does not work type:

xwin jwm that should work. sometimes you have too type xorgwizard and than xwin jwm.

Did you try to hit Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, if that takes you back to x you should be able to shutdown. Is this a full install? Puppy will act differently on a full.

I really don't know much more about this issue. Keep me posted on what you can do and if you get it resolved.

Cheers

Hello Everyone,

I have just uploaded fluxbox-1.3.5 to the repo. I did not compile this with nls support because it would not compile that way for some reason.

It does have imlib2 supported for icons.

I installed the pet and WMswitcher.
Then I switched to fluxbox but it failed to set the resolution.
Do you have it set to a resolution higer than 1024x768? I have an old monitor where that is the maximum res

I have my resolution set at 1280x800 and it works just fine here. Will check on my external screen and do some more sizes. This is on ovprecise-retro.

I also did ovprecise-nonpae at 1280x800 and 1280x1024.

sometimes you have to hit Ctrl+Alt+Backspace get to change the resolution after hitting to start xserver. Even sometimes to shutdown as well while in fluxbox.

What I do is switch back to jwm make adjustments than go back to fluxbox and after that I can make adjustments in fluxbox.

Cheers
