Hi,
some interesting things happened during reinstallation puppy 5.7.1 frugal.
(I only have puppy OS on my notebook)
- the /home directory was named sda1. I have rebooted two times, now it is named /home again.
- at the 1st shutdown I made a 1GB precisesave.2fs. at the 2nd shutdown puppy told me it was the 1st one so made me to create an other precisesave as well - after rebooting I deleted the first one.
Why could they happen? Would I have any disadv. later because of deleting the first savefile? Where should the savefile be - in /mnt/home/ or in /mnt/home/precise5.7.1frugal/

+ at the 1st shutdown I choose to copy sfs file from install CD to HDD as well (it was recommended), so now I have two puppy_precise_5.7.1.sfs. Are both of them needed?

That's strange; only one sfs and save file are needed.
You might want to try precise-5.7.1-retro instead.

I have already reinstalled the standard version. After making a backup I deleted unnecessary files. Till now everything is going well. We will see.
