Lighhouse Puppy Linux 6.02 bugs ( 'LPL602-sf-crashes' ) Subject description: suffering heavy savefile-failures on e MSI netbook using 512MB- / 7xxMB- savefiles!
I thought I'd finally found my special solution with your distro, but NO
again after again and again this was a dissapointment .
My MSI X370 from the Slim-series is really not the strongest with its
resources, but you're especially advertising to be good with your OS
on older PC's also. I JUST NEED TO UPDATE THE SMALEST THING
(eg.midnight commander) FROMOFF 512MB_savefiles
(but somehow also at 7xxMB) and repositorial dependecy-wise
the RAM-, CPU1- CPU2-, and SAVEFILE- resources are crashing
themself full (running outof ...space outof ...proc.cappacity) and hanging
the PC. I also tried unloading all extra .SFS's at boot time, but no difference.
If you break/Switch OFF the next boot results in kernal panic, very funny.
I am using a TREKSTOR CS / 2GB /M/8A04594 USB-stick with LED and
with write-protection-switch(wich is not creating the problem!)
THIS INFORMATION IS JUST FOR YOU (development-team),
I am searching on, but if you answer ---> dont use the email,
may be use this TOPIC/SUBJECT -label: 'LPL602-sf-crashes'
aditionally there was no sound working on my MSI wich is supposed
to be something like
ATI-Radeon HDMI AMD k14.... or
Realtek ALC269 ATI Hudson-1.... or
on Ubuntu it was working fine !
