Subject description: klappt leider nicht
 

Hi,

Leider bin ich nicht besonders firm im konfigurieren. Möchte mit meinem ziemlich alten PC per WLAN ins Internet.
Der USB-WLAN-Stick ASUS WL-167G V3 wird anscheinend erkannt.

Der WLAN-Name WLAN-997397 kommt auch an, also scheint die Verbindung zum Telekom-Router doch zu funktionieren. Trotzdem komme ich nicht in's Internet.

Um die Sache zu vereinfachen, habe ich einen unverschlüsselten Zugang im Router eingestellt.

Was klappt da nicht? ist es die Konfiguration vom Router, wenn der der WLAN-Stick anscheinend eine Verbindung zu diesem herstellen kann Question

Mit welchem Internetzugangsprogramm versuchst du reinzugehen?

Internet Connection Wizard
Simple Internet...
Frisbee?

Üblicherweise funktioniert für WLAN Frisbee am besten.

Tut mir leid, hat ein bisschen gedauert:

Es hat denn doch geklappt, das passende Modul für den ASUS-Stick ist "r8712u", anscheinend ist das (noch) nicht bei allen Puppy-Deivaten vorhanden.

=> NETWORK CONNECTION WIZARD
=> NETWORK WIZARD (nicht "SNS")
> "WLAN 0"
> "WIRELESS" > "SCAN" (jetzt sollte "r8712u" gefunden werden!)
> "PROFIL SPEICHERN"
> "TESTE WLAN 0"
> "AUTODHCP"
> "Netzwerkkonfiguration von Wlan0 erfolgreich"

Es gab dann aber dennoch Probleme. Letztlich habe ich dann mit Fresbee weitergemacht, seitdem läuft das Inet einwandfrei.
