On resume from suspend to ram on an asus eeetop ET1602 if you get dimmed / strange looking backlight (since kernel version 3.0.x) I had success on kernel 3.13.2 using kernel parameter append acpi_sleep=s3bios.
Never had success with ubuntu forum suggested acpi_backlight=vendor
Have been looking for this for two years now, damn!!!!

Not enough Devs that looked into it.
Too little positive feedback I guess.

Can you refer to a text promising that
it is even possible?
