How can we install Unicode fonts ?

Hello,

I live in Vietnam. Puppy 1.0.3 is very fine. However I can't display web sites in Vietnamese : instead of the accentuated Vietnamese characters, I got small rectangles.

I know the problem is with the fonts : apparently there are no Unicode fonts installed so that Mozilla cannot display the right characters. I know on other Linux system, like Debian, for instance, that we just need to install the MS truetype core fonts. How can we do that in Puppy ? and How can we reconfigure the locales, if possible ?

Thanks for any hint.

you can put True Type fonts in /root/.fonts
Mozilla should find them when it starts

if there is no .fonts dir in /root, you can create it (it's a hidden dir)

Firefox has a Character Encoding submenu in the View menu ... i do not know where it is in Mozilla

The locales are in /usr/share/locale
