Video output to second monitor

#1 Post by darkcity »

Hi all,

I'm using Slacko 5.3.1. The computers video card has an s-video output, I have hooked this up to the Scart input of a TV.

Using xrandr I have got the computer to display the desktop and it work with the browser for web videos etc. Thus, the TV becomes a second monitor.

However, playing an .AVI from a DVD data disc only shows a blue rectangle where the video should be. The video is displaying correctly on the first display (monitor).

I have tried Mplayer and Xine. I did try VLC, but my version of Slacko only works with version 1.1 and 1.3 (version 2 of VLC requires Glibc .15)

Any ideas on how to get media player to output to svideo?
