According to the developer, uCareSystem is a small software that automates the basic system maintenance processes.
Briefly, the uCareSystem Core automatically performs the following processes:
Updates the list of available packages
Downloads and install updates
Checks if there are any old Linux Kernels and uninstalls them. Do not worry, though, as it keeps the current and one previous version and deletes all the previous one.
Clears the retrieved packages
Uninstall packages that are obsolete
Uninstall orphaned packages
Deletes package settings that you have previouslly uninstalled
.deb files for Trusty up to Yakkety available here :

To run it just open the terminal and run:
sudo ucaresystem-core
To get new features, you need to install it via PPA. Dog-based OS can do it, so :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:utappia/stable
sudo apt update
sudo apt install ucaresystem-core
Conclusion :
This script works well and is fast, so you can even use it just before shuting down your computer :
sudo ucaresystem-core && sudo shutdown -h now

Have you actually used this on a Puppy version and it worked OK?
Which ones?
Which ones?
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
YaPI(any iso installer)

Actually i used this script on a Dog-based OS (Mintpup), as it is intended to be used on a regular OS, such as Ubuntu. And i saw a good deal of stuff deleted, more than i thought. It is not a replacement for Bleachbit, though. The purpose is not the same.
Afterwards, the OS is definitively cleaner and leaner, and up to date.
As for Puppy, you may try it on a fresh install, and see what happens.
A modified script could be used with Puppy, as an app to clean older stuff not used anymore.
