OOPS, sorry... Slacko 5.7-non-pae using 3.4.82. Graphics is i915 on-board with Atom N270 CPU. WM is JWM supplied with slacko-5.7 np. No changes to JWM.

Not sure what is being searched for or what is "needed"
pfind sees only one non-zero file

usr/bin/glxgears_config

The other two zero-size files are

/sys/class/graphics/fbcon
/sys/devices/virtual/graphics/fbcon

JWM seems to run normally, no apparent problems
Just a FATAL warning in xerrs.log

Hello,
Framebuffer mode stuff not used or needed.
GlxGears configuration file is for GL rendering.
So, yes, no harm no foul.
