problem with asus k53s video card

#1 Post by xanad »

Hi all,
I have an asus k53s notebook and puppy-xorg not recognize the Nvidia card GEForge GT 520mx 1Gb but only the chip Intel core i5.
How I can configure it for Nvidia card? I also tried many nvidia drivers with precise571/slacko570..... :(

Thanks for your reply Mike, The best way, I think, is Bumblebee but in the ubuntu repo does not exist (not now) and for me is also too complex to be edited. Now there are many PC with two graphics cards and perhaps create a package (pet or sfs) would be the right thing....I hope in the future....

Yes support does seem to be growing...often this has to be reverse engineered so it takes time. Hopefully there is linux support when windows croaks it after a year or 2 of running :D
