Firewallstate for Puppy 4.1.2

I have tried firewallstate-1.7, 1.9, 2.1 on puppy 4.1.2 and they all seem to run okay but the tray icon never changes to the ON state even after running the firewall wizard. The tooltip when hovering the mouse pointer over the the icon says the firewall is off as and the icon also shows the off state the. I did ask on the relevant thread http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 144#648144 almost two years age but never got a reply. Any help would be very much appreciated.
