Hey Smokey, anything special I should be aware of when choosing this over FD's standard CP?

How do you switch between the two?

I don't know, I use Opera. Pepperflash works with Chromium based browsers for sure.

@L18L
Just run xvkbd without options. It should open a virtual keyboard GUI. Ignore the warning. If you need help: man xvkbd is installed.

This

Code: Select all

#  xvkbd
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
  Major opcode of failed request: 12 (X_ConfigureWindow)
  Value in failed request:  0x0
  Serial number of failed request: 916
  Current serial number in output stream: 979
#
does not do what it should do (at least not in my copy of Fatdog64-701).

I see. I can't reproduce on my version of Fatdog64-701. Here xvkbd just works. Did xvkbd-3.5-x86_64-1 (in Fatdog's official repo) work for you? Anyway, you may want to file a bug report with the author, his email address is at the end of xvkbd home page. Fatdog's compiled version is built against standard xaw, not xaw3d. Sorry I can't help you more, but I just compiled xvkbd 3.7, I don't actually use it.

This is atom-1.2.0 and it's dependency nodejs-5.0.0, also an sfs with both packages combined.
