Autodesk Eagle ver 9.0.1

#1 Post by Hetejas »

I am running xenial 64, 4.9.58
And I wondered if anyone has been able to get Eagle working better than it runs for me ?
I have been trying and it almost works. I can draw schematics and generate a PCB. Where it fails is to be able to let me configure it so as to have buttons rather than a text command line.
I have tried on their support help desk and they have tried but the answer is that it supposedly works ok under Linux Mint.
I am reluctant to switch over to mint so wanted to ask if anyone had fixed it yet.
There could be more stuff wrong later on but who knows.
I have gotten along so far just using the text buttons, in fact I kinda like them but I have come to a place where I need to use a polygon and I think that there are about 6 of them. The text command buttons cant handle it.

thanks

Did Autodesk cripple it? I was (am) nervous when I saw that they had been sold...

Did you try an older version (can we even still get the older versions?)
