Stupid Wireless USB / PS2 mouse and keyboard!

#1 Post by flamesage »

Ok, I just got this wireless keyboard and mouse out, it has two cables, a USB one and a PS/2 connection, do I plug them both in? Nothing I seem to do will work, and I can't exactly "type" anything because the keyboard won't work with the USB / PS2 plugged in!

(Note: The wireless "hub" is turned on and recieving the keystrokes)

I have a wireless PS/2 keyboard/mouse which works fine in Puppy, no configuration needed. Which Puppy version are you using?

The wireless receiver should have separate PS/2 connectors for the mouse and keyboard (usually green and purple.) I don't know anything about USB mice and keyboards, especially in Puppy.

If you have the two PS/2 connectors, I recommend you start with them. Once you get that to work, try the USB.
