I tried it some months ago, I think you only need to extract the archive in pupzip, then right-click the extracted file -> Permissions -> executable, then click that file to install.

But I am not 100% certain.

hehe ;)

I run a german board since many years.
Some of the most competent messages were written by guys in the age of 13-15.
Meanwhile they are adult, and I met them on a party and on a exposition later :)

These 2 were involved (to a high degree) in creating germanys most popular Linux-website http://pro-linux.de

I think "youngsters" have more this approach to computers like using a game, test this, test that - trial and error. Very effective to understand the concepts, while older are often kind of afraid in simply trying out things.

Glad you like our Puppy :)

We can start calling Pizzasgood - gramps - he is an old man of 17/18 . . .

Good your sister is using Puppy. What does she like in Puppy? What do you like?

Are any of you programming yet?

Pizzasgood has done a lot of programming in Puppy before he finished high school - he will enter college after this summer vacation (2006). Examples are EmptyCrust (lean Puppy), Pupbegone (package remover), HackyRemaster. See ftp://puppy:linux@ftp.servage.net

I'm 15 too..  from Spain

I dunno about XPde, but if you only want the XP appearance, you can install IceWM (look in the Dotpup Installer) and then the IceWM XPde theme (not sure if it was bundled or I installed before or what, but I have it showing on my theme list..

P.S: Yep, I code, PHP, some Python, and a little bit of C.
