The menu item is there but pressing it doesn't do anything. The ap is missing.

thanks bigpup

added your mtpaint help and have asked rcrsn51 about legacy grub, as there's a warning about it on his post.

as for gnumeric... help do any other pups include the help?

Probably not.
Seems it needs yelp to work.
I remember getting it to work, but I had yelp installed to see what it did.
I tried installing yelp with PPM, but it wanted to install 79mb of stuff. Too big to have in the Tahrpup 6.0 iso.

You can go to gnumeric->help->about and click on the gnumeric web page link, which will open in the default browser.

The user manual is easy to find there.

So, not really a bug.

A Puppy feature Shocked Very Happy
You do not need a stinking manual. Rolling Eyes
Well, you may, so go get it from the gnumeic web site link in help->about. Smile Cool

Suggestion I was making probably does not apply to that problem. The problem is probably more related to FF.

hi all, I have a problem problem with ndswrapper module:
Once the driver loaded correctly, I gol a FATAL error ndswrapper module not found

While if i use lxpuppy the driver works fine.

i googled the error and it scemo it can be solved by downloading the ndiswrapper source code and re install it.

I tried, but when I try to actually MAKE the file, I get a missing .config related error... How can I use the make command? Or simply make ndiswrapper work?

Thanks!

Hi AlsoNewtoPuppy,
could you try installing ndiswrapper again by pasting this into a terminal
Code:
petget http://ftp.nluug.nl/ibiblio/distributions/puppylinux/pet_packages-tahr/ndiswrapper-3.14.20.pet
let me know if it works then.

Thanks

hi,

first of all thanks for the hard work!! Cool

I've downloded puppy tahr 6.0 CE PAE and I cannot connect to the internet. I use a netbook with atheros wired and wireless board. When I try to find a module manually I can find none. My question is: is the atl1c module and ath9k supported by puppy tahr or not?

Thanks for your reply.

PostPosted: Fri 31 Oct 2014, 08:30    Post subject: mplayer

I get this when trying command line mplayer:
Code:
# mplayer 01-Track1.flac
bash: mplayer: command not found

When I go to /usr/local/apps/mplayer and try and run it opens VLC. No mplayer in tahr?
