Bert wrote:I guess not many like translating doc files, because there's such an overflow of them in and around Puppy, a distro "that...just works" and also because the documentation is often outdated. Not blaming anyone for this, it's the nature of documentation, specially in a fast evolving distro like Puppy.

I have no idea what we as a team could do about this.
It is not really a translator's task to update the documentation.
If you have ideas for a better way of treating documentation, those would be most welcome!

BTW, one of my tasks tonight is counting the members. Shall I add you as a member? I would be very happy to do so 8)
Yeah, you're right. It's not really a task for translators, yet someone has to do it. It's summer holidays here, I'll see if I can start something in English, and others might translate it if they feel it could help. And yes, you can add me as a member. :D

WARNING: OFF-TOPIC :!:

I just see I have written a thousand forum posts.
It took me only 8 years to do so.

Next eight years will be much more of the same.

Yours Sincerely,

Hey, here's a couple of proverbs for you:
* it's quality that counts, not quantity. :)
* the turtle won the race, not the hare! :)

Anyway, congratulations on your 1,000th post! :)
