Nicons Niui 3.6 gui update.

Added left/right panel open/close.

New function added: Restore Icon Labels. Limitation is that it cannot yet restore icon labels if they were removed before using nicons 3.7 . But that will be possible later.

As more functions are added I will need to redesign the gui, probably adding a tab.

Slight improvements until the big rewrite which will do all drawing rearranging in view!

Removed offset of n pixels from right side of screen. Removed restart wm. Simplified niui (gui) layout.

Hi Stemsee - very interesting approach. I generally try to get rid of as many desktop icons as possible as they tend to get hidden by windows - but I wonder if your app could be extended a little to specify a different icon cluster for each desktop?

I can imagine myself using desktop 1 for web browsing and roxfiler stuff, desktop 2 for word processing and mtpaint/image stuff, desktop 3 for music/media stuff and desktop 4 for misc stuff.

I think I saw someone (rufwoof?) placing different backgrounds and icons on different desktops but I didn't do any testing at the time.

I think it might be a nice addition for nicons to be able to select different icon spreads on each desktop. (including the standard puppy "triangle" - but with different icons in each triangle) at top left of each desktop.

EDIT: Wait a minute - is that what unique layout per 4 desktops means? Must try this.

Yes! unique layout per 4 desktops! Might be buggy if switching back and forth with combination of other features.
