Error with Streamtuner

[Gimlet]

I have installed both Steamtuner and XMMS and am getting an error each time I start Streamtuner.

A plugin error has occurred

Plugin /usr/lib/streamtuner/plugins/local.so could not be loaded: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.4' not found (required by /root/my-applications/lib/libtag_c.so.0)

If I click ok Streamtuner starts and runs but I would like to fix this error can anyone help a newbie with this

1. Delete libstdc++.so.6 link in /usr/lib.
2. Link libstdc++.so.6 and libstdc++.so.6.0.5 out of /root/my-applications/lib to /usr/lib. (Drag & Drop with the keys Ctrl and Shift held down to make link)
This works for me. Luck, Kal
