TeamViewer 10 Host - update for Quickpet

#1 Post by JackWagon »

TeamViewer 10 has been available for a couple months. It would make for a nice update to the Quickpet. .pet and/or .sfs Greatly appreciated.

Any volunteers?

Thanks to all,

JW

To clarify:
TV For all Quickpet repositories. TV 9 is not backward compatible with TV 10, linux and M$. [insert emoticon] :wink:

@Semmee
I am not aware of a TV Host portable.

Did you really mean nine's not backward compatible with 10?? Let's hope not. :D:)

Correction >> NOT portable but, doesn't require installation either. It wants to live in /opt.

Initially, this version (TeamViewer.tar.gz no root permissions) in Tahr 5.8.4 started and gave me an ID# but would not run (or respond from terminal) after a reboot.:(
Anyone having luck with this?

Here's a PET and SFS for Teamviewer 10. Made from the .tar.gz package from the Teamviewer website; just added a menu entry. (The .deb package didn't work on my Precise pup.) Not extensively tested, but seems to work:

Teamviewer-10.0.36281.pet

Teamviewer-10.0.36281.sfs

(This is my first .pet, so feedback appreciated. Seems to install and uninstall fine. It installs in /opt )
