Hi,
I also have similar sound problems, but mine happens only when I use my Acer Laptop (Aspire 1640Z). I am using Puppy 2.01 when I use it on my old HP laptop everything works fine but on the Acer laptop no sound at all. I have tried the wizard without success.
I would like to know how to find out which kind of sound card or chip I have on my system, but I don't know how to find that out. Can some one help please?
Thanks
Kelewax
How to find out Acer Aspire 1640Z sound hardware?
Booting, installing, newbie
