How to adjust OpenSuse's clock? - fallback to UTC each day

hello dear linux-experts


i run opensuse 13-2 and i am very very happy

the time does not get displayed correct.

it falls back to UTC all day. What can i do.

i have had look at the documents here

how to set up correct to the local time - note i live in GERMANY near francfurt

If OpenSuSE has a web forum, that would be the place to ask ;) failing that, LinuxQuestions Forum is your next best bet...

Sorry, this forum is for Puppy users... surely you don't expect us to support the competition...? ;) :lol:

Martin, on the premise that Linux is Linux, one of these should do it. If need be, script it for boot.

well i just read all the hints and follow all the links you posted.

btw ((- do you have any furhter ideas regarding the samsung-q 210 brghtness-issue.
note; i allready have checked the bios. but this does not help here.

question: can i hack the nvidia system to get a brigher display?
let us discuss this and all the brigthness-things in the other thread ))

and it would be great to digg deeper into the puppy - linux philosophy.

i will try to get some introduction into this system - maybe on the frontside of puppylinux
