I don't know if you can request pup's here but, I would like if it someone made a gmail notifer for puppy, because i cannot seem to get Sylpheed (the defult mail client) to work with gmail.

I have not used gmail with Sylpheed, but it should work. Gmail can be used as a standard POP account. I have set up mine with Thunderbird and it works well. You do have to go to your Gmail account settings first and enable the feature.

Thank you so much! I got it worked, I had some stupid security thing enableled within the email client, and it "failed' to authoirze it when it didn't need to.

there is also a firefox extension that will monitor your email account.
It only works when you have the browser open. but for me that's ... just about always
