(Whoa, says the last time I logged in here was almost 9 years ago, in 2006.)

This is a minor problem, but thought I'd mention it.

Boot Tahr Puppy and save its config information at shut down. Then boot Slacko Puppy (5.3.3). Slacko finds Tahr's config info, and complains that it can't load kernel modules. Think the config info is pointing Slacko to the wrong kernel version. Have to boot Slacko with "puppy pfix=ram" or one of the other options to make it ignore saved config info, then it works.

Why did I use Slacko when Tahr is out? I've been chasing a bug in nouveau, and wanted to try older kernels. Slacko didn't work for that anyway, falls back to the vesa driver when the nouveau kernel module will not load because another module it depends on, "button", will not load. Tahr does not have this "button" problem, and runs with nouveau, which unfortunately has regressed sometime since kernel 2.6.34 and now gives a corrupt display. This is on very old hardware, a 350 MHz Pentium II with an NV04 video card, the oldest that nouveau supports.

What is the name of the Tahrpup save file/folder?

Sure you do not have some old Slacko save from another time using Slacko?
